Pay for eBay purchases even without a Paypal account.

While Paypal is the defacto standard of payment on eBay, not everyone wants to have a paypal account for whatever reason. Some have had bad experiences while others simply like using a credit card like they always have. I’ve had several instances where customers wanted to purchase items from my ebay store but didn’t have a paypal account. Some sellers use a third-party merchant account instead of Paypal but they’re mostly larger sellers with automatic checkouts and the like. There are thousands of smaller sellers that have no need for something so complex when Paypal serves its purpose well.

I realized there are people out there that don’t know you can pay through paypal using your credit card without having an account. Paypal is both a payment processor and a payflow gateway so in this instance they just act as the gateway.
